Festive Beaches

This is just a little post dedicated to the first real snowfall at the beaches today, I don't have too much to say because honestly I'm a summer girl at heart. However, the way the snow was falling and the way the water looked with it was stunning. I had to capture some of the action with my good friend Oshien. (@oshienbreeze) We ended up not being able to feel our toes by the end of it and really needing some hot coco, but looking back at the images- it was SO worth it. We made our way from The Green Eggplant, which is my all time favourite restaurant here in Toronto. I suggest everyone check it out. And from there, we walked towards the park across the street that was completely empty which is obviously the best when taking photos (Oshien actually pointed out how great the pathway looked so I can't take credit for this spot!). We kept walking towards the water, knowing we were gunna freeze and of course once we got to the water- we saw the lifeguard house was decorated with Christmas lights! That was a moment I truly realized how happy I am being where I am today. It's really made me think about all the amazing things that have happened in my life, no matter how hard some days we're - at the end of the night I'm super blessed to have worked this hard to be living in an area that makes me love waking up in the morning, to be able to surround myself with the absolute best people and to be healthy. Places can really reflect on your growth and happiness, I truly believe this. I'll always be a beach bum no matter what time of the year, no matter where I am.

This is Oshien by the way, what a cutie!

I also recently purchased this BEACH sweater from a local shop down by the beaches, I've been eyeing this bad boy for two years now and finally made the purchase as an early Christmas gift to myself. I mostly love it because it's Toronto made and has the logo as the Lifeguard house! I fell in love. I can now sleep knowing I'm literally wearing the beach on me haha!

Love,
Shivani
