EDITORIAL: BREATHING SUNLIGHT

I can't believe I got to finally shoot a beach editorial, ever since summer started I've been craving to do this but I needed to wait till I was ready to get back into the swing of things after some unfortunate events that happened in my life. Photography is always my love and never fails to love me back!
Today I worked with model Danielle, who I actually work with at my part time job! You sometimes don't need modelling agencies to shoot people, find those beautiful everyday people that surround you and just ask! It's your job from there to direct and teach. Show them what you want!
The makeup was done by my beautiful MUA friend Dana Sondak (@makeupbydanasondak) who I found on Instagram half a year ago, some of the most talented artists aren't showcased enough and I wanted to bring Dana to light. As she does a lot of wedding and event makeup (which she's incredible at) I had this good gut feeling that she can pull through with editorial makeup and she absolutely did!
The only source of light was the sun, and even then it was a cloudy day which happens to work in your favour as it turns out much softer on the skin. I also carried a small reflector and used the gold side to add some of that "sunlight" that we were missing this day!
Don't be afraid to experiment with what you have, sometimes the most beautiful results are done with little effort at all!
